WHY WE GIVE
WORSHIP
Giving is an act of worship. 'When you give' Jesus says, it's a way you come into 'the secret place' and receive 'the Father's reward' (Matthew 6). We give out of love and devotion.
IMPACT
Giving helps you to make a kingdom difference - as we share the good news about Jesus with our neighbours, in practical ways and through generous invitation. Paul encourages us to work hard - not so we can spend everything on ourselves, but so that we have something to share (Ephesians 4:28).
FREEDOM
Giving is a radical, counter-cultural act which sets you free from the control which money can have over our lives. Jesus says 'You can't serve two masters; you can't serve God and money' (Matt 7).

Your giving at Christ Church Spitalfields goes to local mission! We are extremely blessed as a church to have a beautiful building that we call home. The upkeep of this building along with our production equipment is all paid for through our business partnerships. This means that your giving goes to local mission here in Tower Hamlets and creating a community.
